Mikołaj Kaczecki: Proof that you can, in fact, be born with climbing chalk in your DNA. Sorry, Mum
My obsession kicked off when I was ten. While the other lads were busy kicking a ball around, I was busy learning that a rope is a promise and a rock face is the toughest teacher you’ll ever meet. Let’s just say my career path wasn’t exactly a walk in the park:
- PTTK Badges: I bagged Bronze and Silver while I was still in primary school. I was one of the youngest to ever stomp out those trails. The hiking boots stayed on for dinner. Sorry, Mum.
- National Team: A year in the Polish Junior National Team hammered home a simple truth: success is a rhythm of repetition and brutal discipline.
- The Podium Life: Cups? Championships? I’ve spent my fair share of time on the podium, collecting first, second, and third places like they were trading cards.
- The “Big Numbers”: My personal “greatest hit” in the crags is a VI.5+ route in Rożnow. Anyone who climbs knows that at that level, you can’t fake it. It’s pure, vertical honesty.
I’ve taken that competitive fire and brought it to the industrial world. From rigging fire protection systems at Volkswagen Crafter factories to setting routes for the country’s biggest climbing competitions—I don’t do “average.”
Today, I bring that same obsession and surgical precision to every job your company needs. I’m still chasing the high—only now, I’m doing it with professional gear and a smile you can see from the ground.
